Reading Methods: The Beginning

I would like to start this post by saying that I am really excited for this course! At an early age, I knew my strength and weaknesses when it came to my education and Reading was definitely one of my strengths, not to mention my favorite subject. I am happy and relieved to see some familiar faces, but also excited to meet those I have yet to work with in past semesters. I am also excited to have Dr. Rivera as our professor, who seems to be a very knowledgeable and wonderful teacher to have and work with. Going over the syllabus and schedule for the course intimidated me at first, but I am confident and determined we will all work hard to fulfill these requirements needed of us!

  1. Hi Kelsey! I was a bit intimidated too but I'm sure that as long as we keep on top of things, we will do a great job in this class. Dr. Rivera is a very intelligent and experienced professor so I have no doubt that we will learn so much from her. Perhaps we may even decide to pursue a master's degree in Reading at the end of this course!

  3. Hey Kelsey!
I felt the same way with the syllabus at first. I was getting worried because of the work load but at the same time it motivated me! It'll help build all our confidence in the end because of all the new materials we're going to learn. It was very nice to meet you!

  4. Hi Kelsey,
I was intimidated as well with the assignments but I know that we will benefit from it. I really like that we have Dr. Rivera as our professor, I haven't had her as a professor yet but I heard great things about her. Good Luck this semester!
