Todays class we presented our major beliefs on the teaching reading and how it is important for students. I really enjoyed everyone's philosophies and everyone made a lot of really good points. Understanding that we as teachers need to ensure that our students acquire the proper reading skills and knowledge so that they can succeed not only in school, but also out in the real world. Everyone did a great job and it has opened my eyes to all the different aspects to teaching reading. I also enjoyed the evaluation of our classmates and how we had to mention three positive attributes. Made me realize how awesome everyone is and you are all great friends!

You're very welcome Evin! I enjoyed the positive evaluations as well. At first I was terrified of sharing our philosophies because we were being rated...but I guess it wasn't so bad. I agree with you though, I'm glad we did because everyone had good points.
