In today’s session we had to create a mini lesson on
word recognition. This was my first time creating any type of lesson plan so it
was really hard for me to come up with something. I know it’s not as creative,
but I wasn’t sure how to do it. I liked the ideas that everyone else came up
with and I think I will get the hang of it as we go along. I just wanted to
create something to where the students will read the base word and combine –ing
so that they have a better understanding of it. It was good to practice
creating a lesson plan and I hope I can get better at it!
Hi Evin! It was my first time creating a mini lesson as well and I also found it difficult! However, I think through further reading and research we will get the hang of learning new ways to be creative in our classroom! Your mini lesson was interesting and very helpful in giving me ideas of how I could integrate it into my classroom!
