In today's class session, we presented our philosophy papers. Although I only discussed a snippet of my paper, I found it difficult to stand up there and try to remember everything from the top of my head. I really enjoyed listening to everyone else's philosophies on their teaching of reading because we all had different beliefs. Overall, we all believe that reading is a very important skill to master and that can only be beneficial to our future as well as our students' future.
We also did a little activity where we had to write three positive things about each of our classmates. I found the activity easy to do simply because I have nothing but nice things to say about my classmates. I have grown to know each of them better than I did at the beginning of the semester, and I am glad that I had the opportunity to learn and grow with them. I also hope that we will not become strangers after we all have obtained our degrees.
You did a great job. I was so impressed that you did not take anything up with you. I was sad that we had to evaluate each other and I was not to sure how she wanted it BUT everyone did a great job. I also thought that the positive activity was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWe definitely will not be strangers! I am counting on all of you for guidance and assistance throughout my teaching career. You did an awesome job and I thought all your points were well explained and valuable!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job Jen! It so weird how on the first day of class we were strangers, but now we're like a family :)
ReplyDeleteEven though you say you found it difficult to remember things at the top of your head, you still did a fabulous job (I couldn't tell you struggled at all). If its any consolation, I was couldn't remember everything too...I had to write it down.
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job Jen! Hakuna Matata! I also enjoyed the PEA and how we had to write positive notes about everyone. I too, have nothing but positive comments about everyone and you are all great classmates and great friends. We will definitely not be strangers!
